Available in 4.9mm, 5.4mm, and 6.6mm cell sizes, they eliminate beetle hiding spots, resist wax moth damage, and won’t warp or break down over time. No. All of our materials are USDA food grade compliant. They are safe to use with food, including the honey and pollen produced in the hive.
Yes. All of our products are made with FDA approved food grade materials and organic certified 100% natural beeswax.
You can clean by scraping the old wax off, dipping in boiling water, steaming, placing in a solar melter, etc. They will not warp of bow with these processes. Once you have the old wax removed, you simply melt new wax and roll/brush it back on to your thickness preference.
With regular standard use, our frames are built to last as long as you want to use them. They are 100% solid plastic, UV stable, and can easily be cleaned and reused again and again.
These patented pathways are designed to give the bees easier access to moving from frame to frame; especially during cold weather when it can be difficult for a small group of bees to break cluster to move to more food. The bees can filter through the openings to move to the other side without actually breaking up the cluster. Not all bees will use these openings, every hive is different; but the openings are there if they want them.
All of our products are made out of high temperature, ABS plastic, that is both USDA certified food grade, as well as being UV stable also. We make everything ourselves here in house, so we can assure that is the material being used always.
They will fit all standard langstroth boxes as the outer dimensions are the same as a typical wooden frame.
Yes. Infinity Frames are the same outer dimensions as a standard wood or plastic frame. They can be intermixed with anything you have.
